A Partial Explanation of Ugliness in the World

I think like an artist. I AM a lover of words, of poetry, coffee, music and visual arts. I AM a creator and designer, an engineer (mechanical, electrical, biochemical, etc...). Engineering, as technically and mathematically dependent as it may be, is nonetheless art. Math is art. Engineering is art. It is merely art with specific kinds of technical specifications, inputs, and outputs. It's all art, not just visual arts, music, writing and engineering but the sum of existence and being, the ebb and flow of oceans, the rivers' rise and fall, the fall as precipitation and return of rain as vapor, the preparation and conversion of food into energy in a terrestrial vessel called the human body with all of it's intricate and wonderful capacities - all art. Art can be poorly done. Some art is incorruptible, timeless, and instructive to the willing, mindful, and emerging craftsman, journeyman or artist. Art is informed by science and science (that is knowledge) is too intrinsically elegant to be devoid of art. Life, uninformed by science (that is knowledge) is very poorly done, unskilled art, the handiwork of novices and mere untrained children. Science beautifies life and the more perfected is the science the more apparent is the art in all of life. Science without art is poorly grasped and but partial knowledge - the tinkering of under-skilled children, novices, and students. The graduated student and the master sees that art and science are inseparable parts of any perfected thing either physical or intangible. A thing is perfect when any change to it will not enhance it further. Life down to a science is the most perfect and exquisite art created by the most masterful hand.👑
